I was wondering if I could take out the center brace on my 120 do you think the tank would bow or fall apart? has anyone else thought of doing this? it shades my halides. is there a wire brace I could put in place of the wide plastic brace?
my friend has a 55 gal. setup for about 3or4 yrs. needs new lights can he run just t5 light? what would survive and how many do you think he needs? current 54 watt. double fixture good. two of them? or 8 54 watt. fixture a little pricey. he now has very little in there I'm sure he would love to...
If the bio balls are new I would take them out. I'm using similar setup 200 pro. I use the skimmer but added a smaller skimmer as well T1000. main thing is to clean that pad on top every week. not hard at all. o nitrates
thanks phil. looking for a good way to set up tank. It looks like a corner overflow when placed in the tank and the skimmer looked pretty powerful for a 55 gal. If I bought sump, pump, protein skimmer. I'm sure I would pay a lot more than 250. I know we use what we know works but the industry...
I have a 55 gal. cichled tank and thinking of converting it to salt. my thought is to divide it in half with acrylic drilled holes for water flow. on one side macro/seahorse type stuff the other half anemones with pair of clowns. what do you guys think of this?
