tank is a 150 24' deep already hooked up with the light before I discovered you guys.
I guess I could change my bulbs down the road to 14 or 20,000 .
how long do you leave your mh lights on?
I did not get a response from my previous lighting question so I'll pose it another way.
What do you think of this light? it has 3 150 mh and 4 96 watt actinic. I think it is probably strong enough for most corals. Is there some corals that need more?

I have to say personally I have never been happy with any of the canister filters.
If your not going to run a sump. depending on size of tank perhaps an emperor 400 might do the trick but make sure your using ro water
I'm considering taking out my hermits [mostly blue legged ones] they walk over some delicate corals and unintentionally kill them. anyone else have this experience? I have some snails and they are not a problem
answer to Jrod 150 RR tank about 100lbs live rock external pump lots of water flow almost 0 nitrates cal. at 460 mag about 1300. ph at 8.3 now. salinity .025.
4 green cromis 1 scopas tank. 1 sailfin blenny. 1 coral beauty

I was considering a clam . I heard 3" and under they need phyto and wanted to have some on hand.I have this stuff called coral food mix by h2o life is this any good?
