Carlo,
Your one of the lucky ones with the new design. Faith used to be a distributor/retailer for Odyssea and you would be amazed with what you see on the other side, since they went to the new design they have been inconsist with quality. If you start carrying odyssea in your store you'll...
If your talking about the new Odyssea design well they are known for using the cheapest made in china junk, the ballasts they use are very low quality and you could probably build a better one with parts purchased at Home Depot. Sanjay mainly deals with the better after market stuff like: blue...
Mine is blue ribbon brand it goes from a lighter blue at the top (no white) to a bark blue on the bottom, it was on my 120, the black side I have on my 80 bow.
I've always like SLS ballasts, when the Galaxy first came out I asked him about them. I found it interesting when he said that there is very little difference between all brands of electronic ballasts, when I talked to him back in Dec. he confirmed what he initially told me. I wish I still had...
You don't have to run 250's on a 24" deep tank I run 175's on my 120 with no problems (8 clams and mostly SPS) will 250's be better, yes, but on a 45 Gallon you have to consider coast + heat + electric use. If none are a issue go with the 250's. If heat and cost is, then consider the...
I asked Sanjay about the SLS ballast, he did test them and found there was not enough of a difference between Ice cap and SLS electronic ballasts to add them to the web sight. The big difference is the casing and warranty.
I use the reeflux 12k's on my 28" high tank and don't have a problem...
I run the SLS Galaxy 250w dual ballast, I like them better than ice cap. Better warranty and cheaper than buying 2 separate ballasts and the quick connects are a +
I used the stuff from Blue ribbon (blue on one side Black on the other) I got it from a LFS for $1 per foot 30" high. I wouldn't go too nut's since you'll have coraline algae growing on the glass anyway.
Aquatraders is just a retailer they are not the manufacturer, I would stay far away from them as they have poor business practices. They sell refurbish as new, very poor packing, horrible customer service and if you receive a light with broken bulbs they will not replace them, they get out of...
My sensor was made from speaker wire so it was easy to extend, what type of wire does it have?
This is the one I use and my dosing pump plugs into it

I use a SP3000 to pump from the basement to the 1st floor living room, over 38 feet and that little pump works great. I don't use a KA reactor so I'm not sure if the pump will work for that, I use the garbage can with kalk mix, dosing pump and float switch, been doing it for years this way with...
