Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Hey Paul, get that ear checked out. Right when covid was hitting, I lost hearing in my left ear. As the line goes in Christmas Vacation, "You couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant." I ended up going to an ENT and found out I had Sudden Deafness....yep, it's a...
Paid member shouldn't matter unless they've changed something. With you logged on, and you click on a member, you should see this:
And there is "Start Conversation"
Now seeing this picture, here's my guess....your O-rings are just fine. I think your mating surfaces of the union aren't sitting flush. The reason is all that rigid pipe AND what appears to be a metal strap/clamp just below the valve. This clamp could be torquing the alignment of the union...
Agree, hand tightening should be enough.
Definitely NOT vaseline.
From HD, plumber's grease as long as it's silicone based. I personally use Leslie's Pool Lube....one tube is a lifetime supply.
I was going to suggest Jameco Electronics. I recently purchased three power supplies for Ecotech MP's for less than what Ecotech wanted for just one. A quick look and their cost is 20-23, plus shipping.

As far as store-bought nori....the best and cleanest oriental market I've found is H-Mart. The one I...
LOL....you just made me get up and look at the black bucket I use to store open bags of IO. I got this bucket years ago for someone who had given this to me to carry the stuff I purchased. Even thought I have loads of other buckets, I use this one because I can very easily pull off the lid...
Wait! @amado , if I'm not mistaken, you're in marketing and sales. The number one rule of marketing is "pulling the wooly" on people. There is a very large percentage of the population who want the "best" and are willing to pay. I use to be a motorhead and I'd hang out at a friends parts...
For you DIY Fish food makers, I found this out a couple years ago....be aware of Sodium Tripolyphosphate that is used with prepared seafood, and this is hard to believe, but they do NOT need to list Sodium Tripolyphosphate on their labeling. This would add additional phosphates to you system...
Looks like you're a little over an hour away, but if you want to make the trip, I have a 55 with metal stand that you can have. I'm in Sayreville. Note, just the tank and stand. I'll throw in PVC pipe pieces if you wish.
I've got a couple different variations of these:
Crock Pot American Goulash.....so easy to make and great comfort food on a cold night!
My wife calls it Beef-a-Roni..... that her high school cafeteria use to serve! :oo:
