Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
John Wayne Gacey was belowed clown entertaing kids in his neighbourhood and Ted Bundy was considered to be extremly charming. Do you think my 14 old daughter would understand that as she chats on internet well past midnight?
Brown jelly is a bacterial disease, so the real answer is finding an antibiotic that will not affect either the nitrogen cycle bacterias nor zooaxentelas not be harmfull in any other way to the rest of the tank crew.
As a matter of fact I would really like for all for us to poll together and...
It could be a bit more complicated than that. They are either very hungry or have acquired a new taste or feeding habits.
To test if it is hunger, dose the tank with the brine shrimp. It is not a healthy choice! But is is a full belly choice for almost every fish I know of. Do that for a couple...
As Tina has pointed out, that is just as hanging the picture and is probably the easiest thing to do if you do not want to tinker with the tools and materials. It is also the most aesthetic way for pendants. And can easily be hidden in a rented appartment.
Not really, but do search for...
Ugly ;D
I made almost the same thing from the 1/2" aluminum L profiles from Home Depot. Much more elegant 8)
Just try not to position the lamp over centerbrace because it will deform it and melt it.
IF you have Microsoft Office (therefore not really free or cheap) you should have MS Office Picture Manager, which is good enough for cropping and resizing and some really rudimentary color management. Nothing on a scale of Photoshop, but quite often all you might want to do.
I am assuming ypour overflow's pipe end is submerged (if it isn't it would be better if it is for several reasons). In that case there is no significant weight. Quite the contrary, the sock will have quite a positive buoyancy from all the air trapped into the overflow pipe.
I pull that much in a day in my 75 gal, but I do aggressive wet skimming. Judging from your pics yours seems very dry. Without knowing your bio-load and feeding habits, I would still say that getting only 2oz a day on a 120gal tank is not enough. Maybe you should think of tuning the skimmer...
I have found out that microbubbles in my tank are usually associated by with skimmer not doing the job properly. If you have that high nitrates with 10-15% weekly water changes, then I would take a serious look at your skimmer.
As for phosphates being 0, that could easily happen if you do not...
A few suggestions and comments, if I may.
You have said that you would like to have multiple types of corals. Did you mean mixing SPS, LPS and softies together? Their requirements (water, feeding lights etc) are slightly different, and when they grow and/or move they will fight each other to...
I use mine for couple for years and I have absolutely no issues (75 gal tanl). The only thing is that you have to keep the colection cup clean to maximize the collection (I skim wet). Adjustment is trivial.
