    newest tank, just about done

It must be a slow grower, because it's not readily for sale. I've never grown any macros before so it'll be cool to see how it goes. I'll offer a clipping out to whoever wants when and if it grows out. Hopefully it won't pull a Wicked Witch of the East and melt away. Or is it West?

    Anyone here an electrician?

The costs on the copper stuff has doubled in the past few years. Wire is so expensive now that you really have to think and plan before doing anything.

How do you change your water?

We used to change 15% a month but it's too expensive with the salt and the RO/DI maintenance. For now, we wet skim, about a gallon a day, and with dumping the skim bucket every couple of days we replace the same amount of saltwater. To put the saltwater back we use a measuring bucket with a...

    newest tank, just about done

My wife's reclaiming the basement, so I had to take the stock tanks out of there this past month, which also meant I had to take down the large tank from the living room that they were feeding. We live in Center City and have a basement and three floors. So now it's all on the 2nd floor, down...

    Mp40 wave mode

The force of the wave made by the pumps if you made an actual "wave frequency" is very much spread out and very low relative psi. Not even close of what would be needed to take out a panel at the seams.

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

I do this as well, running everything off of one return pump. I run a 1.5" pvc straight up from the return pump. This 1.5" tube acts as a manifold - I have pvc "T" fittings off it like JGRAZ does except it's all vertical and each "T' is spaced out according to the height needed for a...
