I'm not familiar with Jebao dosing pumps, but have to believe they are peristaltic pumps. That being the case, no check valve is needed....the pump rollers keep fluids from moving backward. And I would think you'd also have no problem pumping from the stand up into the DT.

Why the expense of plexi? 1/4 inch plywood. The other option is to put something on that eggcrate that the cats don't like. The first thing that came to mind was red pepper flakes.....does that work with cats?

First off welcome to NJRC. Please note that tank water does note carry much bacteria. It's the rock and sand where you'll find the necessary bacteria. I'd keep an eye on ammonia, because that tank is going to cycle.

Wait until you get a snow storm or ice storm.....not a single snow/ice truck, so you're house bound until it melts. Most storms it warms the following day and melts, but I can remember one winter we were stuck in the house for three days. A local contractor had his road grader out there...

Woa.....that ammonia can't be real. Are you using API test kit for ammonia....they are known to give 0.25 when in fact there is none.

No other hard corals are showing any signs? Thoughts: 1. Too much light. 2. Alk, Calc and Mag off. 3. High N's and P's.
