Your reactors job is to sustain your Ca. If you need to raise it you should use some Ca additive. Get the Ca to where you want/need it and then use your reactor to keep it there. Can't help you with the regulator/guage. That part is all Greek to me.

As for the PH read the media container for instructions on that. I'm pretty sure that the ARM suggests a PH between 6.8 and 7.0 in order to prevent the "mush media" problem that some people experience.

I'd go with a 120 over the 90. Roughly the same floor space and more volume. The 4' 120 is 4x2x2. I like the 2' width much better than the 18" width.
