Clown jumped out of my tank, I cant take it anymore. I bought them a bubble and carpet anemone to host and one decided to host....my tiled floor . :'( :'(

Saw them swimming over at AO a few weeks ago. Really alien looking and very cool. I wish I had a tank to support them .

I am trying to find 1" square pieces of glass . I would prefer them pre-cut . All I can think of is magnifine glass slides but they are too long . If I cut them in half they will work but rather not go that way . Someone please think or suggest another option,thanks Paul

I am not sure how to disinfect the sand but you definitely have to wash it before adding it . Anything that was alive in the sand is now dead and will negatively affect your water . I think I would just skip on adding it to the tank . Better safe than sorry .

I think AO is worth a trip. Its a good idea to bring a cooler or insulated Styrofoam box(most fish stores have extra to give out) if your going on a buying roadtrip. Have Fun !

I wouldn't bother trying to remove them . You will never get them all out, I would bet there has to be at least 10 more that you dont see to every one you do. Unless it gets huge and you see it doing damage I would just consider it part of your cuc .

Yep,if it aint broke dont fix it. If your adding just to have one I would not, mine do there job on the bubble and sometimes hair/turf but I do catch them trying to pry food out of my suncoral and dendros !

Mine was also a pest, would pick the food from corals while they were trying to eat,all around pest.

You can try to blow him out from behind the rocks with a powerhead .

If its easy to get them out take your old clown out and put the black clown in first, then yours. Its worth a shot .

I spot feed my rics daily, just squirt some mysis near the center and sit back and watch . Its cool to see how they manuver the food item and how big of a pice they can eat .

If changing tank rockwork,anemone is not an easy option see if you can exchange it for a small one,try to pick the smallest out of a group .
