I am curious about the Quiet one 3000 as a replacement for the Mag 7 as a return. Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they really quiet? I also noticed that they are cheaper than the Mag's. 40 - 50 bucks cheaper is a plus in my book.

If a MAG 7 return pump sounds pretty rough on starting it and quits after a few minutes, is it shot? I'm using it on a 75 as a return from the sump.

I saw that this morning on the news. I have never had an issue with any of them. Most don't say a word and the ones that do are usually nice.

It's just that I can't find too much information on people's experiences with these models and saw a couple negative ones about the skimmer. Just trying to get any mods out of the way now before I start running the system by the weekend.
