Thanks for that. Am I correct to assume that there is no control over which bulbs are lit or not? I don't think it would matter since I think im only going to add two more bulbs. I think eight would be overkill on my system for now.

A friend of mine gave me an IceCap 660 + wiring last night just for taking a ride with him up to Elizebeth to pick up a car. ;D Not a bad deal. He had it wired up to run two T12's. I would only have to change the end caps to run T5's right?

I forgot about that. I will check that out when I get home from work later to see waht it does. Dave, I saw that pic as well and thought the same thing. The only difference between that one and mine are the one or two big tubes sticking out of each cluster.

I have 4 of these in different parts of the tank. They are lime green in color. Look like clusters of some sort of algae with 1 or two tubes coming out of the cluster. Any idea what these are? Thanks

Hey! I know what that little blue and lime green scoop in the background of pic #3 is! It came with the baby bathtub we just got. Wish my skimmer pulled that much gunk out.

It wasnt easy for me to walk out of there empty handed. I was even going to grab a candy cane frag out of the $4.99 tank. Gotta say that i'm proud of myself. ;D At least I got the pump to get my sump going last night.

Thanks. After posting on here, I saw a product called Flatworm Exit. Any experience? I also saw that quick FW dips do the trick as well but i'm sure that stresses the corals out, no?

Must be a recent thing. I was planning on picking up a frag of something but you put a kabosh on that one. LOL Is there a good dip that could be used instead of QT and treating?

I never saw the flatworms there before. I was planning on heading there this eve to pick up a pump. Plus, I think they get a shipment in today.

I didnt know about the new pennies. I did see red bubble algae for the first time the other day on one of my rocks. Only two bulbs (as far as I know).
