Hello all, I have a Rena XP2 Canister filter that I was running on my 55 before upgrading to the 75 that I no longer have a use for. It's in working order and does not leak. I would suggest replacing the hoses on it though. I would be willing to trade it for some frags of some sort if possible...

+50 on the fishless cycle. I remember when I started, I was at the tank every night with a flashlight to see what life would come out of the rocks and sand. What you saw was probably a hitchiker from one of the live rocks you got. I'm sure there are many more. Congrats on getting into the hobby...

Especially when it looks like spicy mustard. :-\ I do put his bassinet up against the tank though and he just stares at it. Its fun to watch him try to follow the fish. The wife sent me that pic today. Only a week old and having little giggle fits as he's drifting off to sleep.
