Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thanks Reef Docg....it was finished and given away. I no longer have it....although I used the same dowel and magnet attachments for my 90DT equipment cabinet.
Bump this up.....and any more news on this. It would be great to have these for RAP when we're not wearing our volunteer shirts....or for those in our booth..
Here's what I have:
Like new condition - used for less than a year-Seaside Aquatics Curve ES5 skimmer. This is the "new" version of the Bubble Magus Curve 5 with an improved pump....Sicce SK200. Nice little skimmer. $125 pick up in Sayreville. This sells for $250 brand new.
Anyone see Hummers yet? I've actually had to dump my first load of nectar because it started to go white (guessing bacteria), and sanitize the feeders. Haven't seen a one yet!
I think you have a couple things going on there. The first picture is not close enough to say what you have there. The second pic, I'm guessing a baby stomatella....a good thing. The rest of your pictures....the small spiral things, I'm guessing spirorbid worms...harmless filter feeders.
Joe, I guess you didn't get the memo. Obama has declared that your God given sex doesn't matter any more. It's how you feel. If you feel feminine, then you may use the lady's facilities, and conversely, if you feel masculine, step right up with the boys. So calling your new addition a...
I think it might work, but also think it's way too big. I think you'd be better off drilling the tank, but that's me. However, I like your suggestion as an HOB refugium.....great size.
Here's a picture of the overflow....and it is big. The opening in the back measures 5 x 9 inches. I think it might be a CPR Overflow, but not 100% sure. It cost well of 100 when new.
You will need a small pump to assure you maintain siphon....something like a Tom's Aqualifter.
I have an overflow box....but if you have a 25 gallon like listed in the sub part of your post, it will be overkill. I had it on a 58 gallon tank and it could handle a much bigger tank. Later I find it and take pictures and see if I can determine whose it is. I also have a DIY durso to...
Oh, I understand now. My tool of choice is a sledge hammer. If it doesn't go together with that, then you continue beating until your frustration level begins to drop. This method will also require a broom and dust pan to pick up the splinters of wood.
Looking great! Love the new builds. I can understand the whiskey....practicing on yourself for when you start carbon dosing, but where do you use a reciprocating saw for assembling a stand?
Thanks for the bump Mark.....I also don't get it. I too thought it would go quick....it's half price! If I don't get action here, I'll post on other sites.
