Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
What what how dare you disagree! The least you could do is PM me. LOL. :) i am just joking!
In retrospect after reading what you said - that does make a lot of sense. So just put in one fan and let the air naturally come out.
I wish though the original poster would come back and check njrc...
I had a maroon clown - she was huge and had this incessant urge to bite LR (to hold herself in place) and wave her tail furiously at the sand. Like she was treasure hunting (or building a clean spot for a nest). When we added a condylactis (don't try this at home kids...wrong species from the...
tank looks awesome joe! Makes me want to run over to smcooler and check it out. Unfortunately right now my wallet is not cooperating with doing ANY shopping. :P
there's a sticky here for new folks to check out. The last link has membership info. Figured I'd post it here for ya!
Also -
welcome to NJRC!
if it's a new tank - I would be careful about ordering a large package deal. A lot of the inverts will probably just die from lack of food in the...
i know - I prefaced all of that with "Crazy".
Look - everyone in this hobby has hermits and shrimp and crabs.
For me - I don't know if I want any of those in my tank. I may end up changing my mind.
Lysmata amboinensis aka skunk cleaner and Lysmata deblius aka fire/blood are totally cool to...
lol....you'd be surprised about snuba. When I was on the boat in hawai'i - you could snorkle (what I did) or pay an exorbitant fee to SNUBA and go way down. The benefit I guess is that there is no PADI certification required.
You should look for Brian's 225 monstrosity...that's the thread...
My opinion.
The hawkeye crazy no shrimp no crab list. Why? because I think shrimp and crabs will jump at any opportunity to nip/rip at food from a coral or clam. That's just me. People house these inverts with clams and corals all the time. Anyways...
4- Trochus snails (personally prefer...
Looks like the pistol that hitched in on my gulf of mexico LR. But I have no clue.
You could try a goby - but there's no guarantee. I guess if it doesn't work you could buy the pistol later!
Here's pics of my tiny guy (he was loud!)
lol...snuba is used on cruise lines and gimmicks for tourists.
Basically you are snorkeling with a verrrrrrrrrrrry long line attached to the boat that is hooked to an oxygen tank. I've seen it in hawai'i on the boat tours.
So does jim win a prize for guessing the not to be named store? ;)
By the way - that was really risky with the fruit - it's totally not reef safe. ;D ;D ;D
What about SNUBA? ;D
My neighbor has a koi pond. I always wondered how they survive the winter months...do you just keep a pump running to prevent ice from forming? Ah - another topic in open water I guess. Welcome!
