Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Yup, but they can be acclimated to live in full saltwater. They are great for algae control and a source of food for the reef as they are live bearers. When they breed it is free foods for all.
Check with TFJ Pet center, they have decent prices plus you don't have to have them shipped as they are in Toms River and you can pick the up. Also they are a club sponsor.
That's fine. I was just letting you know they require cold temperatures. They usually survive about 6 months or so at the higher temps. They are gorgeous fish, it's just a shame that they aren't kept sold at their required conditions.
Re: You might want to read this because of high concentration of this in our tan
Heck with the coffee, this means all our beer has been contaminated. Better send it to me for further testing.
Mike,
Clown gobie is fine, clown fish are not. Clowns tend to be aggressive eaters and can become territorial as they mature and pair bond.
Firefish, shrimp and small gobies (I try to avoid the larger sand sifting gobies), some blennies. Guess I really need to push the folks to get the new...
Personally for a same sex tank I prefer all males, but either will do. I prefer males because you get to enjoy all the daily rituals of courting, pouch flushing, colour display, dancing, without the added headache of having fry. Females will do the same, but not as readily as the males and...
Yeah, my girlfriend loves all the little gobies. She recently lost her 3 year old neon gobie. A pair of pandas would make a perfect replacement.
Glad they are both still with you. Hopefully you see them eat soon.
Yeah, the pandas are very tiny. Good luck with them. Hopefully next week I can get me some.
Have you tried feeding them Cyclop-Eze or other small foods?
Sure you can as long as your house has AC. Run the tank open topped and use a fan. You will evaporate more water but the tank will stay cool.
On the 30 cube I run a Coralife 96w power quad PC fixture and on my 37 gallon I run a 2x65w Current Orbit PC fixture.
I went to see Steve today at Aqua Oceans, you forgot to mention you bought all the pandas he had. ;) He is gonna order me some for next week. Along with a shrimp/gobie pair.
Great looking pics. Thanks for sharing.
