It sounds like you have the dreaded pods j/k . They are most likely copepods and are a sign of a healthy tank . They are a great snack for your fish and help in cleanup. There a good thing .

You can pick up some liquid food vitamins to soak food in before the feeding . A little tlc should do it good.

Thanks Steve . Phyl I did have my powerheads on but think the blur was from me,it is low down in the tank and i was not all that steady taking the shot . It is a pic of a chalice so flow probably has nothing to do with the blur .
