joint...it's a slip pvc that is inserted into the bulkhead. I did not cement the nut. Thoughts? I feel like a knucklehead...

Do I.... a) cut/rip out pvc that was cemented into bulkhead? b) teflon tape the connection and then cement it again?

yeah - I read the gauge wrong. The black is kg/cm2. I read the black...the red is psi and at 70 - which I think is still low I guess.

in terms of the fug - I think you want it not too fast as you want a chance for the pods and such to reproduce. But you also don't want it too slow so that cyano gets a chance to grow. This was a pet peeve of mine with the hob refugiums - I always felt the pump was underpowered. In other words...

thanks! I did find the DI bypass - but that was on the closed position. But reading page 3 of the instructions (duh) - I found what I was looking for: "4. it is normal for the DI cartridge not to fill with water. Some have only an inch of water in the sump. This has no impact on the water...

Re: AGA 120 (very few pictures and lots of dull writing) yep already drilled. I read to put in a small one first and if there is still a gurgling sounds to increase the size of the hole (or put an airline in). I'm totally new at this so we shall see when water is added....(fingers crossed).
