This is right on the link I gave you, right next to the cutting boards:

I am compelled to clarify because I believe you are confusing specific gravity (SG) with parts per thousand (PPT) and am not sure if you actually have calibrated your refractometer. A number of the refractometers we use have both scales. We want to target SG of around 1.026, while equals...
I'm wondering if that pipe isn't DWV that he is using under pressure. It sure sounds that way.
EDIT TO ADD:
I also just looked up a picture of his filter room:
National code for bracing PVC pipe is every four feet. By eye, it looks like that is what he has. However, whenever I've run...
That simple bracket was made with scrap plywood I had lying around. You need a place to put the voltage supply, and I also had to mount it to the concrete wall in the basement. This bracket just made that simple to do.
No timer for me. My typical water making day is starting the pump...

Is that one tank in the first picture sitting on the hearth of a fireplace? I have one tank (OK, two...a small nano as well), and the moisture problems I have in my house are killing me. I've got to believe your house is a sauna.
The minimum is enough to wet the glass frit bulb. But here's the important point, you never ever want to totally submerse the probe past the top of the glass portion. It will immediately ruin the probe.
I have mine in a probe bulkhead to make sure the top never gets wet.
Here it is new...
I'm going to assume you have low e glass. Low e cuts about 5 to 10 percent of visible light while taking both UV and IR down to very very low levels. If you look at photosynthetic response cuvres,
only a smig of of UV and IR are included. Accordingly I would guess that PAR is...

I thought their live born babies were just fish food. I didn't know they were algae eaters. So were did you get them....I could use a couple in my sump.
