    RO/DI filter question

For the sediment and carbon block it's recommended to change them every 6 months or so depending on what your source water is like. For the DI you want to change it when the TDS of your product water starts to go up.

    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

Thanks guys. I'm loving the open aquascape. It makes the tank feel "bigger" in a way. Hoping to add a few more fish in the next week or 2. And I should be moving a few more things over from the frag system maybe this weekend.

    Problem with Custom DI Setup

I know this is a dumb question but I know I've made dumber mistakes myself. Was the resin you used recharged or just separated waiting to be recharged?

    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

Kinda been slacking on this thread. Things are coming along fairly slowly but very well. I have been pushing myself to take things as slow as possible so I stock the tank with the things I really want, not just spur of the moment purchases. I've moved some stuff over from the frag system and...

    Mike's 315 Gallon Build

Very nicely done. I love the minimal rock work. Fish look awesome, nice and healthy. Not that it's doesn't look great now, but once it's grown in its going to be a real show stopper. Can't wait to see more.

    Plumbing...you knew it was coming...

If it's a BRS reactor you would use a 1" slip x 1/2" thread reducer bushing and a 1/2" thread x 1/2" push connect (also called a john guest fitting sometimes).

    Natureef Denitrifier

I saw this system in person and from my understanding and what I saw new tank water is pumped into the reaction chamber displacing the water in the chamber which overflows back to the sump. Hope that makes sense. Basically there's a baffle and when the new water is pumped into the chamber the...
