I believe you're supposed to bump your mag up to 1600-1800ppm with the kent tech m for bryposis. Just remember not to raise it too fast. About 150ppm per day should be good. Good luck.

Make sure you keep an eye on your alk when using the 8.4. If I remember correctly it will raise you alk as well.

I wouldn't slip a piece of pipe into the threaded side. I can't see that working out. You can get a "male adapter" which threads into the bulkhead and then you can glue your PVC into it. Or can you just use a slip x slip bulkhead and glue directly to that?

I have seen guys do this in the past for making plugs and discs successfully. Pretty cool trick I saw was to take the plugs they had made put them in a mesh bag and then inside the top tank of the toilet. Every time you flush they are rinsed and water is changed. I forget exactly how long...

This time of year is tough with fish selection sometimes. Especially with the weather we have been getting. Shipping can be too much of a gamble sometimes. Once the weather breaks selection should get better.
