I believe you're supposed to bump your mag up to 1600-1800ppm with the kent tech m for bryposis. Just remember not to raise it too fast. About 150ppm per day should be good. Good luck.

I wouldn't slip a piece of pipe into the threaded side. I can't see that working out. You can get a "male adapter" which threads into the bulkhead and then you can glue your PVC into it.
Or can you just use a slip x slip bulkhead and glue directly to that?
I'm not too sure what you mean in the first part but for the second you should be able to find at a plumbing or irrigation supply place. Or if you have a good hardware store by you they may have it too.

I have seen guys do this in the past for making plugs and discs successfully. Pretty cool trick I saw was to take the plugs they had made put them in a mesh bag and then inside the top tank of the toilet. Every time you flush they are rinsed and water is changed. I forget exactly how long...

This time of year is tough with fish selection sometimes. Especially with the weather we have been getting. Shipping can be too much of a gamble sometimes. Once the weather breaks selection should get better.
