Need a good suggestion for a stand for a 120 Gal

If you didn't start off with your #1, I might have suggested that you see how mine is coming along and try to build one yourself. It's certainly not easy though, especially when you don't have the proper tools. I've gotten the framework all done for my 3 pieces (stand, canopy, and side...

    Red Sea Calcium Recall

I had always thought mine was reading high... will have to check mine tonight for batch numbers, etc. I don't think I kept the original box, but I have the kit that came in a black case. Thanks for posting this Matt!

    What is this?

And if you don't like how it looks, put it in your sump. That way you still get the filtration benefits.

    New sump and plumbing setup

My sump setup is drain into skimmer section (filter sock on the drain) --> Fuge --> Bubble trap --> Return section. I like this setup because: 1. All water going through the sump has the best chance of passing through at least some filtration. If the water makes it past the skimmer section...

    Problems with Tapatalk

OK, I heard back from Tapatalk and the API Key issue was resolved. It's now entered in our control panel and there should not be any issues with this going forward. If there are though, again, please let me know.

Two 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tanks

Excellent! Thank you Doug (and Dave for the original generous offer). We have a storage unit in Cherry Hill (just off of Rte. 295) where this would get stored until needed, and it's not too far from Philly. Let me know when you plan to pick it up from Dave and maybe I can meet you somewhere...

Two 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tanks

Hey Doug, if you don't have a use for both of those tanks... the club (NJRC) could make use of one for our annual frag swap. We're always looking to borrow one just before the swap to help us move/store saltwater for our vendors. Let me know either way.

    Problems with Tapatalk

OK, now I'm both happy and confused. Happy that it seems to be working but confused because it should not be yet. The issue was that we didn't have a valid api key entered in the control panel which is required to enable this feature. When I tried to get a new one from the tapatalk...

    Problems with Tapatalk

Thanks for the feedback Doug. I'll look into that and see if that's something I can "switch on".

    Problems with Tapatalk

I'm guessing that means everything works fine? I have an older version of Tapatalk and it was working for me even before the update... so I couldn't troubleshoot it afterwards... it was just working still, lol. :o

    Problems with Tapatalk

OK, I have the new API uploaded and installed. Tapatalk should be working normally now. If not, please post any issues or error messages here. Thank you all for your patience.

    Problems with Tapatalk

FYI, I'm currently uploading the updated Tapatalk API. Until the upload is completed, Tapatalk will not be working. I'll update here when the upload is complete. After that, please let me know if any problems are persistent.

    Error

I've been backing up the old Tapatalk files from our server so it's possible that my connection was causing this temporarily. It's also a possibility that it could be due to the fact that hostgator has recently moved us over to upgraded hardware (something on their end.) I'm sure whatever...

    Sunny's 350G build (was 150)

Sorry to hear about the back injury Sunny, but glad your feeling better now. The tank still looks as great as ever too!

    Seaside Park Boardwalk

Wow, that was way out of control. It's a good thing this didn't happen during the peek season with a crowded boardwalk. Many people could have been hurt or killed. I wonder how it happened?

    Ecosystem FISH SOlution

I like the study they did on the 4 different filtration systems. I noticed that coral and fish growth were much better in the 2 tanks with their "system" but I also noticed that the "typical" setup appeared to have more coralline growth on the tank walls. I would love to see another update at...
