Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Welcome to NJRC. Would suggest becoming a member if it suits you we do a lot of great things, as a member you can participate in group buys for instance.

Peppermint shrimp will get rid of the aiptasia if you want a natural way.
The bryopsis....listen to Candi it is a pain in the butt. Find a way to get rid of it. If you scrape it off it will float around and re-attatch so be careful.
Reading about fish is half the fun of the tank.
First in the fish forum there is a list of bad fish.
Second you cannot have really big fish so that scratches some.
Third try to decide if you are having corals or not.
If yes then you will eliminate non reef safe fish.
Fourth decide if you want...
Re: AGA 120 (very few pictures and lots of dull writing)
Good thing you have the Solaris.
I have 2 x 250 W heaters, you don't get the added bonus of in sump return pump for heat. I think you have a more open system so I would guess you will need to add another heater somewhere. I am sure...
Nice job on the rockscape and the rest of the setup. You will need to establish a light cycle as you have colalline algae already which is great. I would suggest getting some sort of timer so that everything is just automated. Makes life much easier IMO.
I like it too but like John said a little more would be better. Don't forget the LR adds a lot to your biological filters so you will have to monitor that.
I have T5s and am very happy.
January group buy.

Nice savings over Marinedepot.
Don't honestly know...the blenny might get after him, if you introduced the clown first it would be best.
I have seen one Chalk bass at AO nice fish but I would like to get a few of them to school I understand you can even introduce in pairs which is a bit odd. I don't honestly know why I am...
It has the pump mounted under the skimmer body? What size tank did you have it on? How old is it? Is it hard to adjust?
Just asking for Ryan so he can make a good decision. :)
Let me suggest once more...take your time and research. I am guesing you will get a suggestion of the Octopus.
Look through this website ... it is our group buy in January I would think you can get a good deal here...
I have purple, dark red, green and even a bright yellow. They are different species I was just reading yesterday about them there is not really a difference.
Swings are hard on the livestock. The warmer you have the tank the more problems you will see with nuisance algae and red slime. My tank was running 80 in the summer and is at 76 now but swing was slow. I suspect it will creep back up to 80 in the summer.
It looks to me that all the fish minus the Mandarine have similar dispositions. IMO the angel won't wilt with the tang. Mine has stood up to my pseudocromis..not big just a mean little &^#$@. On the other hand it hasn't really gone after other tank mates. Flame might be good though as coloration...
Looks like a good list. I have a pygmy angel and he is a pretty good camper. So long as you have a cover on the tank the list looks good. Glad Phyl pointed out the tang/tank size problem.
