Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
As most people here will make friends if someone gives you a bad time just privately let them know. This isn't a RC sized community and if word spreads it won't take long. This is just my opinion, someone did it for me and although the sale worked out I was at least warned. Glad for the heads up...
PM him then or go to his website maybe and send him an email from there? Very interested in how it works out for you. His LEDs for your tank should let you keep anything that would fit in the tank.
First did you rerun the test?
Second the quotes Bill pulled, he pulled for a reason. As one of the more experienced reefers and certainly one that I respect I believe he has the right and was right. You are too impulsive at times, and we all hate to see poor animals die because we make...
Heat on that is a very good point you might try LED lights. Here is a local builder, he brought his lights to the frag swap. Might be a super idea as he could build you a thin light strip, no heat high light.

In little pico tanks like that I have seen a lot of sexy shrimp as a standard critter. Just a thought, I don't know if I would do a fish. Soft coral would probably work too you might even get away with some zoas.
I would go with the 4s on the 5ft tank, if you want sps on the bow then just buy the 4s. I love the pumps personally. I don't have any problems though use the flow directors. Without they can kick up a ruckass.
Re: My Oceanic Tech 120 and a request for input.
No sweat Phil...anything to learn something new. ;)
I did read that skimming can actually remove iodine? Sounded odd, but I never skimmed before so that would have an impact I suppose if true.
In any case I am going out to get something. BTW...
Re: AGA 120 (very few pictures and lots of dull writing)
On the firefish thing...I had two from Justin and they got along fine. I don't know if he got them as a pair or not but there were no problems between them. As you questioned/suggested...until my bicolor was moved to the big tank he was a...
Re: My Oceanic Tech 120 and a request for input.
No idea...I tried to make sure my light cycle started gently, which was a suggestion I read, till the fish were acclimated. It worked for 4 months then out he went. 4 inch lip on the tank wasn't enough either.
Hey Chuck,
I think a sump and refugium are great ideas.
I have a lighting fixture from Catalina Aquarium(the sump you have listed). But I didn't buy their sump.
I bought mine here...
