Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Steve, I see your reasons for wanting to pursue this. With the situation the bank is in, you can probably get it at a great price since they're desperate.
I'm suprised that the home inspection actually found the leak. I'd try to find out who the home inspector was and contact them for as many...
Haha, yea, I bet everyone will talk about him if they find out he has a pair of those. All he needs now is a couple tatoo's and a biker jacket and he'll get a reputation. Dance
All kidding aside, that's a good looking snake!
Paul, I thought that last photo of post #46 was the new unit that you were describing "just arrived" just above that. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention.
The heatsink looks good, so disregard my previous concerns. ;)
The new fixture most likely came with it's own plexiglass over the...
Looks good Paul. The top piece fit great and you got lucky that the cases were the same size. Did you have a backup plan if it was smaller than the hole you made? :o
That fixture looks like one of those that just use a foil type heat dissipator instead of an actual heatsink. If so, just be...
Got home late last night and so I didn't get a chance to follow up as promised, but here goes... Some of these points may sound negative, but they're solely being made to help everyone understand what this is really going to take to succeed:
1. Running the contest - The BOD already spends a lot...
Since I upgraded to LEDs, I run a more "tropical" lighting schedule:
- Blues on at 7:30 AM, off at 10 PM - Intensity starts at 10% and ramps up to 100% at "midday" (which is 4:15 PM), then ramps down to 10% before going off at 10 PM.
- Whites on at 10 AM, off at 7:30 PM - Intensity starts at...
Sunny,
I think it's a great idea... and I'm a board member. ;)
I have to run out to go watch my son wrestle, but I'll post back here later tonight with some more comments on this.
Nice rig Ryan! I think the same way as you. I build my own to get quality hardware with ability to upgrade. I will NEVER buy a premade PC because I've never seen one that didn't have inferior quality parts. They all advertise the nice new cpu's but that's about the only good thing they come...
Dave, if your plan is to have one giant hinge along the back/top and then have it lift up... make sure there's enough clearance in the back. Whatever the height of the canopy is, you will need that much space behind it as it swings up/open.
Thanks for opening your home to us Kevin, and for the great food too. Turns out we didn't need to order pizza since you already had it covered with the mini burgers and chicken fingers. They were great!
I'd like to also thank everyone who donated frags for the raffles. It was a great meeting...
So far we've got wings and pretzels for food. Also looks to be a small group this month. How about a few of us chip in for pizzas and make it easy on everyone trying to figure out what to bring? ;)
