Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The GPH for the MJ900 is pretty good, and the MJ900 uses a lot less electricity then the MJ1200.
I have the Korallia 2 and a couple MJs but without the mod.
I like the Korallia a lot, it really cut down on the heat used in the tank though it is a little bulkier then the MJ.
I think the MJ's...
What Carlo said ;D.
I would get this book...where you get it is up to you.

I got it during a group buy.
My only other thought is in picking fish...with a Nano you have a very limited amount of space. I...
You didn't tell us the lighting. Not real important the type yet but if you have timer already(get one) and the lights are coming on and off then you probably will see algae pretty soon or diatoms. What have you done with the ever included bio-balls and ceramic pieces? I would chuck-em and just...
Light does not have to be as strong for the fuge that is for sure....6500-6800 wavelength seems to be the agreed best for macro. Yes, most of the timers have a day/night cycle so it is very easy. Copper is one of the elements in most ick treatments for fish. Salt shouldn't have excess...
Well for group buys you don't need the card...cool stores like AO just look you up online.
From what I understand the cards are sort of on the back burner. The only place it matters is Tropiquarium for me...but depends on your local LFS. If you set up a sump you can have the fuge in it with a...
First join NJRC!!!
You will save all the money in next months buy.
Second Mynd has a lot of great advice. He solved a lot of my problems.
I didn't buy the RO unit. I buy all my water from Tropiquarium...50cents for RODI and 1 buck for salt....it just saves sooooo much time and pain in the bumm...
They make some of the little in hood chillers ...my AP runs high in the summer and I am going to invest in one this spring. They fit in the hood where the fan is...basically it is 89+15for the pump with the higher lights on yours I would plan on doing something.
Bummer sorry to hear it dude. I would just try to get any dead matter out if possible and not stress out what is still living on the rocks, in my very humble opinion. Someone else says something different then go with them. Timer is really important and even the multiple cycle ones only cost 30...
I think for fuge 6.5K-6.8K range is best .... and reverse light cycle for me.
Perhaps there is not much differce then 24/7 but a) why pay for the extra 12H and b) if it is marginally better then 24/7 for PH then I don't see any reason positive to run it all the time.
How much live rock do you have. I agree with Carlo you don't want to mess with your corals using funky light cycles. I would start with two things mentioned. First get a turkey baster and blast the heck out of your rocks then do a good water change 25%. Then add some chemical phosphate media to...
I flipped out because mine moved from where I put him to the top of the glass. Then after a couple days he moved back down the glass and hasn't moved a lick (unfortunate because he arse is against the glass). I got a ton of reasons why he moved but best I can figure is they look for a particular...
Nice very nice. I like the frameless tanks myself Elos is my favorite so far. But the idea is the same, and your idea is pretty sweet. (Don't think the middle of the living room would work for mw wife either ;D)
