Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
What kind of float valve are we talking about here Paul? Is it setup for RO/DI units? I know we could probably use another one at the NJAAS classroom tank at Adventure Aquarium. Sharon only has one and it would be easier to have one for fresh, one for salt.
Love the fire shrimp Phil, and that's a cool looking conch!
What did you do to correct the white balance? I need to figure mine out so any tips/clues would be helpful.
Congrats Nikki! Good luck finding room for it in your tanks.
PS, another great job of creating a family-like fun atmosphere here Sunny. It brings the best out of everyone (well, except Phil!)
Jim, you must have been planning this for a while because everything is well thought out IMO. Really happy to hear you already have the QT plans as a priority! ;)
For bonding rock together, the most popular method seems to be drilling holes straight through the rock, then running an acrylic or...
I'm not an electrician, but I did a bunch of research on LED's and how to control them because my LED's were dimmable but didn't come with a controller.
From what I found, potentiometers (pots) are typically used to control analog drivers (0-10v). They just adjust the voltage of the signal...
Everything's looking great Mike! Is that a new Scoly (the orange one behind the green one)?
I know what you mean with the frag racks. I almost have more frags on the racks than I do on my rocks, lol.
Mike, Brian jumped in before me since his post was short and sweet. But if you know me, that's not how I roll. :D
One thing you should know about those Rapid LED kits... they give you the choice of either ELN-60-48P or ELN-60-48D drivers.
The difference between these two is the type of...
I have a 24 cube I'd like to Retro to LEDs.

Welcome to the club Jose. It seems we have a very resourceful DIY guy added to our ranks! Really love the milk crate rock work idea. And it takes some skill to cut a tank down like that.
Looking forward to tagging along on this one for sure.
I just tried the same line on my wife. Here's what she had to say:
"I say we find out where they are from and book a trip get a bunch and sell them lol"
Anyone know a good travel agent? ;)
I would have to agree with J. Nothing like escaping the jaws of a predator to make you think twice about jumping into his clutches again!
Great save Nikki! And cool story Mike.
That's another good point. Almost everyone getting these tanks are some kind of business and hardly any of them are "enthusiasts " just looking to build the ultimate aquarium.
Most of them wouldn't know the difference if the used fresh or salt water tanks.
