Rethinking the words aggressive and not reef friendly

To add to what Mike said, I waited to get my dwarf angel (an eiblii) until last because the rule of thumb is to add "more aggressive" fish after your less aggressive fish have established themselves in the tank. Well, it turns out that the eiblii is the most docile fish in the tank. Well, my...

    Looking for bluebox ecotech controller

I think I have one somewhere too. I upgraded my MP20 to an MP40W ES a long time ago. The MP20 box worked fine, I just wanted more flow. I'll let you know if I find it Kevin.

    My 280g build....

Wow! I agree with Jim, it looks very professionally built. I'm super jealous and would love to see this in person whenever it gets packed with corals and fish. Really nice lights too btw. A bit expensive... but about as good as you will ever find for quite some time... that's for sure!

US: 56 coral species face extinction danger from warming, acidic seas

Yea, the main problem is that people don't see a direct impact of global warming. Another big problem is that the big energy companies don't want us to choose alternative energy sources because that would cut into their profits. It's a shame that global warming seems to be a myth when there's...

    Temper-pedic mattress, anyone have one?

We bought a Sealy memory foam mattress (queen) about 5 years ago for my son's new bedroom set. I think it was a "Posture Pedic" but not sure because their website shows the Posture's as a spring type and this is definitely a memory foam. They had 3 types, soft, medium, and firm. We elected to go...

Russ, I'm really glad you're contributing to this thread. Many of our members will learn a great deal about how RODI systems work and how to set them up properly. I don't want to sound like I'm arguing with you... I'm just curious to know something: Doesn't a booster pump also increase...

    Tank Breakdown -08002- Cherry Hill

Was great to finally get to see your tank Xavier. Thanks for the frags and the great frag rack. The one I was making was about half the size and I have yours pretty much filled up already so I'm very thankful. Frags are looking great and I plan on feeding them tonight. Like I said, when you...
