I do about 15% every week on my 75G. With all my LR and the extra volume in my 30G sump, it took me 70G to fill my tank/sump up. I do 10G every weekend.
Sometimes, if I neglect adding my Calc/Mag I do a 15G change instead of 10G... then catch up on additives after re-testing first.
Will this be for your tank or your girfriends new nano?
I used to have an AquaC EV-120 on my 75G, running a Mag 7 (came with my tank package when I bought it used). When the pump went on it, I decided to just get a new one. If you have a suitable pump to run it and want to borrow it to try it...
Funny, I was coming back here to report the very same thing. Those guys really care about their products and go above and beyond to keep their customers satisfied.
I sent a few more emails to both Joe and Roberto, and copied you on them all Mike. I also posted my findings from testing last...
Paul, the Apex Jr. (or any version of Apex) is a plug and play controller for the Apollos. A Profilux is also supported and according to Joe's comments to me, can support more drivers on a single channel than the Apex.
Apex Jr. will work perfectly fine if you also get the VDM module attachment...
Yea, seems like the best person to figure it out at this point. I'll make a post in the morning.
Finishing up putting all this stuff away so I can get some sleep.
Yes, I got them to light up, even with the converters. But they didn't seem as bright as they were at the Frag Swap. After several more hours of testing, I've come to the conclusion that the issue is the PWM to Analog converter.
Rather than type it all over again, here's my latest reply to...
Thanks for splitting this off and cleaning up the other thread Taz!
Yea, it is a touchy subject and I agree that it's almost impossible to tell whether a pic was altered via software. We will have to rely on the honor system, but at least if we let it be known that it's not fair... maybe some...
Yes, I've been busy and time flies by when messing around with this stuff. It isn't really hard, it's just time consuming and a bit of trial and error to get the positioning. Most of it is just copy/paste from others work and then some minor mods to the positioning data.
Yea, I've already...
I just wanted to formally apologize to Sandee for my original post here. Although I feel there should be a discussion on using / allowing software to enhance photo submissions, I did not mean to suggest that she had done anything wrong with her pics while bringing that up here. It was merely the...
Cool, thanks Mike. It might be just as easy for me to check the RA forums and find your post... and see what Roberto says about it. ;)
FYI, the light power cords don't need to plug into the relay box if you don't want to. They can be plugged into any wall outlet or power strip, etc. But then...
Mike can you pm me the code? I'd like to try it tonight.
Xavier, thanks for the idea but not sure those will work. First off I didn't see any in that link that fit 6-32 rod. Secondly, I wouldn't be able to screw the rod into those after I fasten them inside the fixtures case. Well maybe...
By the time I got them going, it was already pretty dark so I didn't want to put them over my tank... but you know I did for a brief moment. :tickled_pink: I only had one hooked up at a time since I only had one spare ethernet cable to splice and use for the lights. I still had my T-5 fixture on...
That was incredible! I wish they would have slowed it down a bit, or spent a bit more time with each scene instead of jumping around so much.
But wow, that's a crazy awesome reef! Hope I can dive there some day.
David, if you want to split my post into another thread, I'd be ok with that. (Just leave the "Congrats" part here please!)
I don't want my post (or any replies to it) to muddy up Sandee's Congrat's thread.
