Gotcha, I currently have mine set up to measure going into and coming out of the system. I guess it really a preference. Assuming I have a dual inline meter and measure before and after the membrane how would I know when DI is exausted.
Agreed on the membrane. It was infact working properly just the tubes were reversed. As for the water being "0" TDS why should that be an issue. The DI was stripping the water clean so I would think it would be fine. Now the DI may be prematurely exausted since it was cleaning waste water...
Just a little update. Got a little more done with the stand. Hopefully by the weekend I'll be ready for the doors. Curtis if you reading I'll be calling soon.
Also got my skimmer coming. Going with a SWC 160. That's all for now.
I wish you were right. That basement is under an addition that previous owners did on my home. It has no access from inside the house, only from outside via bilco doors. It's basically open to the elements.
Ok thx. I think I'll stick with the eheim for the return and the reactors. If bdecide to add the 20 to the system I'll just use the sicce 1.5 I currently have running it.
Ok a little help here. Im thinking about a return pump I was pretty positive that I would use a eheim 1262. Will that be enough pump to handle the return at approximately 4.5'head and still run a dual BRS reactor hung above my sump.
Also I was thinking of taking my current nano which is a 20h...
My card opening only lasted 5 min before my wife had to leave for work. I'll be making my own dinner tonight. At least I get to spend the day working on my aquarium stand with my son.
Yeah the previous owners had this basement put in when they put an extension on the house. The basement is only accessible from outside and they also did electric themselves. I'm guessing they did insulation too. I'm gonna get a new circuit for this tank only put it for that reason.
I really...
This is where my 90 gal is going. Centered on the wall. The nano is going bye bye.
This is the basement. The above pic is in this spot.
These are 12" joists running perpendicular to the tank.
Do I need to reinforce the floor? If so are 4x4's running from top to concrete slab sufficient...
