Hello
Tell me what you have. I am open to all trades.
If you have nothing to trade I am looking for about $10 a frag.
But I would rather trade.
Pick up is in Edison 08820
Hello
I have a frag tank that is full with some very colorful rainbow anemones.
I have an opportunity to get a CSB so I am going to get rid of all my
Anemones. I will sell in two sizes $60 for the large ones
And $40 for the small. I have some rocks that have two large that I can do for $100...
With the leather corals in a mixed reef you have to run carbon and replace it every month. Chemi pure elite is good and that has resin in it.
If you can run the blue that’s even better
If you can run resin in a reactor. I would it will get rid of most of the silicate.
I would also run carbon.
If you don’t have a reactor I would get chemi pure blue and run that until your tank is clear.
Make sure you have a good source for RODi water.
I use a 7 stage BRS and my water is...
I got my Berghia from salty underground. They ship well and are around $15 each. In nj the only LFS I find that always has beghia it’s absolutely fish at $29 each.
Get your live sand from amazon it’s the same price as regular sand. This is what I always order.
It’s $29 for 40lb of live sand and it comes with bacteria.
The bag is sealed with water so the sand stays alive.
Carib Sea ACS00940 Ocean Direct Natural Live Sand for Aquarium, 40-Pound...
It’s too expensive to rent space in NYC for a reef show.
Parking will also be a nightmare.
It’s so much cheaper to find space in NJ.
It’s a fraction of the cost.
The advantage with this product is that instead of having 7 different Hanna tester you buy this one unit that does it all.
It also does the steps with you so you don’t have to keep track of the instructions. This will also store your results and you can see trends.
The aquaspin is over 1k
Looks like Hanna now has a tester that will test different reef parameters.

If you need storage I would reach out to the storage companies.
They will sometimes allow you to use their truck or van for free. With a storage rental. You can also rent a small storage.
You can also use the “Neighboor” app and find some one renting their garage for storage.
I am not 100% on this. I am sure someone with more Expirience will comment. I think sponges are good for reef tanks. If you are growing sponges then your reef is thriving. I also believe they are filter feeders so they clean the water. I have sponges and I leave them alone.
I know in our heads 6months feels like a long time but for a reef tank it’s still
A very short time. I wouldnt introduce anymore coral until your tank is stable and growing coraline. I would test my salinity and alk as much is possible to make sure the ato and doser is working properly
