nice. I do understand they may not take to nems. I'm ok with that. I like the look of nems in a tank. I might also add some LPS like Hammers and/or torches and/or frogspawn
Well added my first fish. I might had rushed it but he been in there for 2 days and doing well.
It's a Flurry clown fish. Once he been good for awhile I am going to get another clown and then start looking at nems.
welcome @Haus Its always worthy of checking out others tale of the tanks. Every tank is different and everyone does things differently. Look forward to seeing your tank developed. I had a 54 corner until I broke it down but now I'm getting my 36 up and running.
I have alwasy heard to raise it slowly over the next couple of days but never personally ran into it. you def want to take it slow so not to shock the corals even more

zoas can close up quickly do to light change, sand being kicked on them, shrimp/crab walking on them, etc.. Try running your light normal for a day or two and see if they open back up once the adjust to the light change
Without seeing what your talking about it sounds like the 'water' leaking from the cup is the skimmate right? If that is the case then that is not good. I have read skimmate can crash a tank. If it water from the skimmer and not skimmate then you be ok but I would follow @trio91 suggestion of...
If its reading 0 on both coming out of your RO/DI unit but reading 0.8-1.7 is sounds (as it seem you already know) something along the line of your container/piping) Have you tried filling one container and taking a reading (without pumping the water around the system)? It might help pinpoint...
