If you replace that mag return pump with a dc pump you will also see less heat. the mag pump generate a lot of heat.

Moving does suck. Tearing down and starting over is sometimes the better choice. With so much going on trying to keep corals alive while you move is too much. good luck

It’s never a good idea to chase pH it’s been proven that corals can grow in any ph 7.8. -8.5. I am just giving another choice instead of kalk. You will find that you can have good results using different methods. I personally don’t like kalkwasser.
