Where do you plan to keep the macro? I know they make these hang on the back(or side of your tank) but they are only about the size of a brick. The plants prefer a whiter light so if it gets the ab spectrum from your lights, it won’t thrive as well as if it was getting a more white/yellow/red...

Lol I have gone through a few gfs and if they ever question why I spend what I do on my fish tanks, on to the next one. For me it’s my way of relaxation so if you can’t vibe with that , then it ain’t going to work.

Thanks Eric, it’s easy to fill up a tiny tank with nice stuff, if I had a large tank the additions would be less and less since I would need more equipment.

Absolute droolfest over the yellow favia, always wanted one of these, yellow submarine. The colors are even more vibrant in person. Also was able to get the raptors piece favia chopped up into multiple frags , was over an inch thick of straight coral skeleton.

I try to avoid adding anything to the tank. When you add one thing it ends up converting what you don’t want into something else, which may Inturn be green hair algea everywhere. I think since the tanks new and small with relatively small rock and the additions of more coral, the tank is trying...

It should end up passing as the tank ages and it’s getting routine husbandry. You aren’t dosing any type of bacteria right?

In a 29 there isn’t much room

There is a lobo the size of a grapefruit there along with three giant favia that will kill anything down there.

I have never have my hands on any par netter so I don’t exactly know what the par is, but when I have acros that look like trash and lose polyps on the racks when I put them under the lights under the rocks they bounce right back. My confetti looked like trash in the beginnng. Almos lost it
