My basement can get pretty humid, I use a dehumidifier to battle it. It's amazing how much moisture it can pull out! the only drawback to the dehumidifier is that it generates heat...so that starts another issue. ::)

You glue it exactly like Rigid PVC. You can use the flex to go right up to your return and then make the actual return out of rigid PVC. (if that's what you're talking about)

I'm not sure there are any cons to running one. You can run Phosban or carbon in them. I am running three of them now (2 carbon, 1 Rowaphos)and love them.

I'm afraid to say it, but I've been lucky with the time as well. I haven't touched it since I've set it up. (using Aquanotes Light)
