Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
My basement can get pretty humid, I use a dehumidifier to battle it. It's amazing how much moisture it can pull out!
the only drawback to the dehumidifier is that it generates heat...so that starts another issue. ::)
Not everyone on the RSVP is a member(some came for the swap and then became members though!), that being said...No, you don't have to be a member to come to the swap.
Everything else is doing great, I can usually see red bugs in photo's, I'm not seeing it on this one...now I'm going to have to try and take some closer pics.
You glue it exactly like Rigid PVC.
You can use the flex to go right up to your return and then make the actual return out of rigid PVC. (if that's what you're talking about)

I'm not sure there are any cons to running one. You can run Phosban or carbon in them. I am running three of them now (2 carbon, 1 Rowaphos)and love them.
1. Shortcuts NEVER work
2. You would be elbow deep in saltwater on a daily basis
(for the first few months at least)
3. It's as addicting as Crack (and more expensive!)
4. A quick freshwater dip does NOT kill flatworms.
5. Buy an RO/DI unit.
6. Find a local reef club to help you out.
