    No:PO-X

If you are using NOPox just follow the chart. It took me 13 weeks to go from 75+ to 2 ppm. There are other methods to drop them which won’t hurt your tank. Large water change but just make sure they don’t creep back up. More live rock, Chaeto or other macro algae will also help you.

Anyone out there close to me have a pump for sale. Unfortunately both of my return pumps that were in my saltwater storage crapped out on me.yesterday and today. What luck! I had to order a new return pump to get the water from my storage tank to my display but this morning when I went to...

    No:PO-X

I’ve been dosing the DIY NOPox (Vodka, vinegar and RODI water) and over the course of 12 weeks I went from 80plus ppm to 2.7ppm. Once I got it to this level I cut my dosage in half and has been holding steady. It works. Just don’t rush it. Follow the chart.

    Found a Dolla Bella Seahare

Round 2 with a sea hare. Nitrates are at 5 ppm. I think my nitrates were too high for the first one. This guy is huge and I was watching him slurp up the GHA like spaghetti. Hopefully he continues to do his job. Can you spot him

Please help me with my GHA

I have used reef flux on 2 occasions it did cause some of the GHA to whiten but never fully eradicate it like others. I have been using a shop vac with micro brush attachments to pull out. My biggest concern with the GHA is it keeps growing on my Duncan’s, zoas and torches. It comes off very...

Please help me with my GHA

I only added 2 scarlet reef hermits last week but there’s no way just 2 did that much cleaning. I would add more but I don’t want my snails to be their dinner.

Please help me with my GHA

Still battling, this week I plan on adding another urchin thanks to Mwil. Picking up some more turbo snails as well. I did notice some of my live rock was very clean which indicates someone is doing their job. I refuse to give up on this battle. This has been a challenge, but that’s what makes...

    Snail survival rate?

I might pick up a small aerator and put them in a bucket. Gonna ask the store to provide me with extra water. These will def help me with my hair algae since they are pretty big.
