I'm still on a quest to take a decent video but I am not there yet. Here I tried with the pumps off. I am going to keep trying. These new camera's have so many settings on them that it could take a half an hour just to set the thing the way you want it. But they still come out kind of lousy...

With the correct size mesh, the shrimp try to get through but get stuck so the fish just suck them through the net. Almost no shrimp get lost because they can't get out on their own and the seahorses could eat all day.

Looks cool. now you just need to make one with smaller holes. The one I built years ago for adult brine shrimp used plastic window screen and that worked so well I got a patent. But the patent is expired now and I don't make them any more. Window screen is the way to go with adult brine.

I am learning on this camera. I never took a video with it so I tried again with the focus locked. It doesn't get me as dizzy, but still not perfect. :o

I built the thing mainly for this young skinny female mandarin. Up unitl now she has been afraid to go on top of it and would just suck up the shrimp around the edges but now she hangs out on top of it and sucks out dozens of shrimp. I need her to grow a little so she can mate.

Don't get the window screen confused with the baby brine shrimp feeder. Window screen is only used for adult brine shrimp. For the babies, I used a fish net. I also used acryllic tubing to get shrimp into the thing. Flexable air tubing will work but then you have to put your hand in the tank...
