The light has been on about a week. Just noticed my alk is only 100 ppm what should it be at? I only have the G series solaris.

Not sure what is going on but some of my zoos are not opening up and some are partally open. Even my GSP is staying tucked away for the most part. I recently switched lights form a outer orbit pro series to a solaris. Could that be doing it? Nitrates and nitrites are all 0. Fish are doing great...

With my humidex they recommended that intake be as low as possible. Just a thought.

I am not planning on any more fish as of now. I want to work on my coral collection. Thought about possibly making some sort of top. Love the SOLARIS. Defiantly a good decision.

Yeah the GFCI works fine.. IDK what happened. The heater wasn't completely full of water i guess I caught it just in time. IDK. Anyway, the 75w heater seems to be working fine for the tank. I might just leave that one in there.

The tank is on a gfci but it didn't trip. Guess I'm lucky I didn't get a zap!

Checked my tank temp today and it was only 72. Looked at the heater and it was set to 76 and the light wasn't on. After checking to see if it was plugged in I took it out to inspect to find water in it. I hope I didn't hurt anything. I have a 75w stealth heater in there for now. Hope it can keep up.

I have the G on my 70 Tec and both at 100. Figured I would save the money as everyone dosent run the H and I at 100% anyway.

Phoenix 14k is nice.

I beleve both blues and whites at 100% would be 20K then cut back the blues to lower to 15k ect. I am still learning with mine.

It is a space issue. I am not sure I am ready to a basement setup such as yours.. Although I would love one.

What would an alternative pump be if I am planning to keep it in my basement and the tank / sump is on the 1st floor?

I think I understand how it works. The output from the RO feeds in to the Ka reactor then the output of the Ka reactor goes into the drum which stores the RO water. When the tank calls for water, the RO/w Ka water is then pumped into the tank dosing the calcium. Is this correct?

So do you need both a KA and Ca reactor or just one?

Im a little lost. What is the actual one we would be getting? Also, what else would be need to make it work? Sorry for the Newbie questions.
