Thanks for all the replies. My current tank has the rock on the sand, I just wasnt sure if there was a better way to do it.

OK, Need some opinions. Should I place egg crate under my live rock so it is not in direct contact with the glass or should I just place the rock on the glass and fill around with sand?

Well, Items were well packaged and in great shape. One of the corals didn't quit look correct (Colors) but they offered me a credit for the purchase amount. They even gave a freebee! My clam should be here in a day or two so I will let you know how that is.

I have been wanting to upgrade from my 24gallon AP. I came across the 70 gallon Oceanic Tech series RR tank. It looks like a really nice tank and stand. Is it woth the $800 (Trop) though? I want to get the largest 36" long tank and this seems to be a good choice.
