I always ended up with issues after moving my sand bed, my last upgrade 3 weeks ago, I went bare bottom in the main display and threw my sand from the old tank in my refugium, so far nothing that arose in the past has shown itself :-X

I've had a Flame Angel and currently have a Velvet Dwarf Angel, the flame only picked on my gorgonia, I had sps, zoa's, shrooms and frogspawn in the tank. Currently I have SPS, Zoa,s and meaty LPS/acans and I've yet to see the Velvet Dwarf touch anything. Like any fish I think it'***** or miss.

I was curious as to what happens during the summer break, is the tank assessable over that period, do you break it down or move it home and set up again in Sept.? I only ask because you mentioned that over the Easter Vacation you needed timers, also will anyone be able to top off over this period?

Keep in mind that I was only using a 48in. lighting fixture on it, granted it was 750watt hqi. If you set up your rocks properly you'll have 6in. of space on each end ;) Any thought of skimmer yet?
