I live in somerset and can try my best to help but my biggest problem is my schedule is crazy right now.

I have been slowly killing mine with chemi-pur. It takes a long time but it seems to be working.

I bought an anenome and a clown that was already hosting it together at Aquatic Obsessions. They even went home in the same bag because the clown would not leave the anenome.

I switched to red sea and I like it a lot.

I have baffles to elimate it but I never got rid of them all until I put a filter bad on top of them. I think that helps the best. I am just really good about keeping it clean.

I actually have never run carbon in my reef and everything seems to be growing and happy.

I would want to do a water change anyway because of the death to begin with so I would just watch the parameters and keep up with the water changes.

I would just put something in its way to grow on to make frags from.

I personally found that 50% on both seems to make everything happy until you acclimate them to the new light. (not sure about the alk) I set mine to 50% and raised 5% each week until getting up to 100%.

How recently???? If they are getting used to the light they will not be happy for a while. Mine took a while to adjust to things and you have to be carefull to make sure they don't start to die on you. I would change the settings to 50% on both blue and white and see the results.

I have used a turkey baster and it took some work but they let go.

I guess I could have worded that better. I have an 8 foot tank and a 4 foot Solaris on one side and T5 on the other. I like the flexability.

All I know is that I like them on 1/2 the tank. I would not like them on 100% of the tank though. Not sure about what Kelvin it is though.

I only have a dozen or so Mexican turbos in my 240. I think the type makes a big difference. It has been up almost over a year and never had a problem with these guys. They do a great job.
