The world of SPAM continues to grow and no matter what you do you will never win totally. A lot of my business is managing SPAM filters and appliances like that and you will find the spammers will always find a way around it somehow.

I would blame the aquaclear first. I used to have those until it kept pulling in almost every fish I had. I got rid of them and I have never had the issue again.

Mine are small. Only about 2-3 inches but it was definitley them. I sat there and watched them and now all my corals are happy with them gone.

My Hippos had to get pulled from my reef and from what I have read they do end up getting a taste for corals!

I know what you mean. I am from FL and I did not know why anyone would want a basement when I moved up here.

My fuge has tons but I have never seen them in the display.

I had a couple tangs do that and I could not get them to stop so I pulled them.

I use a bottle or something to cover the coral while it east what I give it. I also try not to overfeed the corals becasue they will just throw up what they do not eat.

Actually all the LPS looked great but after getting things in more of an order they are opening bigger than they ever have before.

I had a similar thing happen. I never had any pistol shrimp in my tank at all and then babies started to show up and grow! That lasted about 2 months until I made that tank into my aggresive tank they all "dispeared".

Where? Rug, walls? I would use bleach. Mold is very resiliant.

I think it was from feeding my corals....... I used to try and feed the corals with silversides, clam, and squid but the fish would always take the food and then I would feed more and more and more...... The fish would not eat much of the food but just enough so I think that is what did it. I...

OUCH! Maybe you got it in enough time to save things!

I saw his tank 6 months ago and then just a few weeks ago and you would be amazed on how fast his SPS grew! They are actually growing out of the water now.
