If anyone needs some high level tech advice (Cisco, UNIX, data security, AD, exchange) let me know and I will gladly help out. That is what I do to pay for my reef habit. I would be glad to help out as much as I can.
I need to paint my overflows in my new tank. Is there a special paint I should or should NOT use? I got some primer that works on glass and I was thinking about just spraying it after that.
So I picked up my new 240 Gallon tank today and the fun has just started. (With lots of help from Gabe and Tom)
It is a little dirty but it will clean up just fine:
Look, it holds water just fine!
So this movie is on TV right now and when it first came out I never had a salt setup nor did I know as much as I know now. This movie takes on an entirly different meaning now!
I will be building my new stand soon and I was wondering what everyone has done to seal the inside of their stands. I saw one guy use linoleum. I am not sure if I want to do that or just use something else. What has everyone else done?
Yes, so I am new to corals. I have been trying to target feed certain corals. (doubnut, torch, elegance, brain) and I am not sure if they are actually eating it or not. How do I know if they are eating it or will I? I put the food right on their mouths but I don't see them take it in. Should I?
Ok, so I know it has been asked a lot but...........
If I want the ability to put any coral in my tank would I "have" to get MH or can I use just strong T5? I know this is a matter of opinion BUT has anyone had good sucess with T5 and coral that requires a lot of light?
I am using T5 right...
Everyone, Soon I will be building my own stand for a 180 and 125. Is there any advice you can give that you have learned from experience? I found some great plans but I just want to see if there are any hints that anyone has learned.
THANKS!
Would I be better getting a 90 gallon or 125 gallon for a reef only tank? The 90 gallon has a lot of hight so I was thinking that would be better. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
