    PH swing

    My tanks' PH swings from about 8.4 to 7.9 respectively when the lights are turned out. Is that within tolerance or do you think i could be causing my inhabitants undue stress. Just wondering if that PH swing is acceptable or should i do something about it.Thanks for any feedback -Eugene

    Different plumbing question

    I recently changed the plumbing in the overflow of my 54 gallon tank. I have two slip bulkhead fittings(3/4 and 1 inch). Should i cement the pvc pipe that connects from the bulkhead to the sump? Im not really sure. Thanks for any feedback -Eugene
