    Well I'd be running it right off my manifold so no pump is needed and it already has a ball valve. Only reason I ask about this one is bc I can get one off another member for a really good price.

    Alright awesome. I should be getting my skimmer in the next few days hopefully. What kind of BP reactor would you recommend? I was looking at the standard BRS one just like the GFO.

    Got a picture? Not sure what ya mean And yeah I read that once you set up the BP, just to let it run for like 2 months without touching it and let it break in. I definitely have nitrates and phosphates tho. So I may run both down the line. Think I need to let my tank establish itself more...

    I've been doing some reading. Is it better to run bio pellets in a reactor or run GFO in a reactor? Or both(separate reactors)

    Skipping that question for a lid question. I think I know what I'm gonna do. I can get a piece of glass or acrylic cut to fit my tank and get some sorta of track bar for the sides of the tank so I can slide the piece of glass/acrylic on and off the tank. Do you guys think that would work? If so...

    Just did a 2 gallon water change, siphoned up some junk at the bottom. Question tho. If I only have a powerhead and a heater in here, how can i add something to help clear up the water? like carbon?

    Just got done doing a 30g water change. Put the poly pad in. Gonna wait til tomorrow and add a nice bag of carbon and let it run for a few days like that. All of my fish look so happy, very hungry and very active :) New skimmer and pump are on the way, hopefully I can get my plumbing situation...
