    I turned on this new pump and I thought it was broken. It was even more quiet than my mag18 and that was quiet! However, I have to put it on speed setting 3-4 outta 6 in order to be able to close up my valve on the manifold and not have a dumping sound. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far...

    I have it sitting on a pad that it came with and I don't hear anything at all. Also had a mag9.5 before and that was quiet as well. Plus this mag18 is only 2 months old

    well, I put my skimmer together. I love this thing and its not even in operation yet. I was worried that the water level was going to be too low but holding it up next to my sump, its actually going to be perfect. Tomorrow after work I plan on setting up my return pump, fixing the flow issue...
