Ugh - please don't get these. They (marbled crayfish) are genetic freaks and are an invasive species in most of europe. Every single one is a female and can reproduce without a male (which I believe do not exist).

you could just use any small air pump and if it is too powerful, add a valve to fine tune it to your needs. Air stone skimmers are really old school.

Rotifers are not at all picky about whether the phyto is LIVE or DEAD. Rotifers can be fed something like this Reef Nutrition Phyto Feast. Should be able to find it in a local shop. It is normally refrigerated so buying online/shipping is not ideal in the summer unless they pack it right...
