hey warren welcome!
I love the display tanks at trop - if I lived closer I'd pay them more of a visit. I've never dealt with trent but austin is on this board and is a great guy to deal with. If you're really bored you could pay a visit to the Red Bank Vet hospital - there's a 2,000 gallon...
clownfish, when small, basically should be considered "juvenile" - neither male or female.
The best way to ensure a pairing is to buy a very small clown that will grow into the sex desired. If a female is there already - it should develop into a male.
Regarding the sand - you should probably...
nice pics! thanks for uploading so many of them! That shrimp looks like something I just recently bought live from an asian market - quite yummy.
stupid fact that i probably only know: Spock was filmed inside a tank at monterrey.
that is amazing. I've only seen a blue lobster up in maine at their oceanarium.
Interesting morphs shown here though: (check out the half/half lobster).

I came across this sign...
you'd think it meant it was one-way in all those directions, but no. It's basically a 4 way stop zone but they stuck an island in the middle. The sign is just to direct you how to drive around the island. Bizarre.
Welcome george - nice looking tank . Regarding the LR - what makes you think the 30~40 llbs of LR has copper in it? If it has copper then "curing" the rock will not help - the copper will remain and be lethal to inverts. Frankly if you know for sure it has copper - i'd look elsewhere for more LR...
catching up on my reading. That is one badly shipped tank. UPS shipped my skimmer from NaCL-H20 and the bottom piece was busted...a "pressure" crack (basically they stacked something a lot heavier on top.
Anyways - what a mess of a car - looks like it was a well cared for scion but not anymore...
i have a 120 display with about 30 gallon sump - i had a 55 gallon drum for ATO while I was away the past 2 weeks and I came back and there was about 15~20 gallons left. So about 25 gallons evap - but both my sump and display have no cover (sump sits in a separate room). About 1.7 gallons a day...
terri is right - i haven't looked at my tarpon in a while but I just did and it does look like yours.
My RPM for the tarpon is identical to what you have shown and the frame also reads 56J. Only thing is mine has a black sticker- not the silver you have pictured.
My tarpon is underneath my sink...
i was under the impression resin can last a good 4 or 5 years if you have been flushing the membrane keeping it clean. If you do not have the "flush" ability on your RODI - then you may just want to replace the membrane. That stated, I'm hardly the expert on RODI's. I just go ask AWI since that...
He's quoted as saying the last time he checked on them was 18 months ago.
Well if I had $1,000,000 dollars worth of stuff - whether it's acres of corn or an acre of LR - I'd be guarding/checking on that stuff daily.
I mean - aren't there hurricanes that come thru Florida - wouldn't a hurricane...
i've used the ev120 - which is just shorter. the design is awesome for tight spots under the tank.
As mentioned the one downside was getting it to dial in initially. I found that my hands in the tank would sometimes cause the skimmer to stop.
One positive - because of the spray injection...
welcome to NJ! :P
i was using tap for the longest time in ny...but when I came to NJ - I didn't know that every county has like different water sources. So i know some folks here use tap - and others swear by rodi.
From a local perspective - I don't think you could go wrong with TB - you'd...
