On the return pump- is there a need to push that much water thru the sump? There are quite a few successful tanks with very slow flow thru the sump - but maximizing the skimmer efficiency in the sump.

actually - if you think about it - with an electronic ballast and halides on a timer - it doesn't add up to the pumps that are on 24x7 - depending on how many pumps you have and how energy efficient the pumps are (both for the return, the reactors, the phs and the skimmer).

To add if you RSVP the organizers (that would be our superb officers) also prep cool little name tags so you can associate the username to the person's real name. This makes conversation a lot easier since you don't have to go walk around yelling "Hey Lord Viper".... :)
