Frag Grow out Summer 2018 DISCUSSION

How about picking the top 3 in growth then choose the one with the best color? Problem is color can be quite different depending on the camera settings. And color can be subjective.

Frag Grow out Summer 2018 DISCUSSION

With SPS are we going for growth or color or a balance of both? Right now the dKH in my tank is 11 so I am setting up for growth :glee:

I just signed up for both. My tank is new so unlike the rest of the competition I fully expect to lose. You can add $5 to your winnings :)

    Soft Coral Settings for Hydra26

Corals can easily be bleached if the nutrient level is too low. So adjust light levels accordingly.

    Working fish

I am not a tang police but agreed, NO TANG in that tank. A small tank poses challenges for algae control. I have good experience with Emerald crabs. And a small army of snails.

    Advice for an led light

I only had a brief experience with a hydra 26 and I had no problem at all with the app. I like the color the light puts out. I wouldn’t worry too much the app is quite easy to use. With such big user base there probably are some complaints but a lot have to do with user error.

BC 32g FOR SALE!! INCLUDING UPGRADES!!

John that’s a great price for a nice setup. So many people nowadays making offers then only to back out a few days later. No consideration for people’s time or money at all. PayPal or it didn’t happen.

Can i use a canister filters for a salt water aquariums

Yes you can. But since you have a decent sized tank my advice is get a setup with a sump. So much easier to put all the equipment in the sump.

    Joe’s NAno

I traded it for some corals. It’s so big it occupied half of the tank. Also removed most of the Kenya tree.

    Joe’s NAno

Is this a case of too many too fast? Anyways adding some corals and some of them will eventually move out. Surprised the SPS are doing fine will see if they brown out with the high nutrient levels.

    29 or 40B

No problem. I will just use a regular tank for it. I didn't really use the baffle for anything anyway.
