My Kole tang is a bully. At least in a 4ft tank. Now he's in another tank by himself. After I removed him other fish seems to be more relaxed and came out more.

I bought three sets of the red ones to make it easier to move tanks around. You have to use it properly then it should be good for smaller tanks. I moved my 105g with it no problem.

So you can dial down the power without changing the flow pattern? 150 is wider I guess it will give a wider flow.

Anyone using this in a 120g or similar? Is it enough or 150 is better? Also do you use other pump with your gyre?

I try to give them a comfortable environment and max out the bio. I know it would be a problem to treat fish but I like them to eat well first then treat as necessary. I know a lot of people do bare bottom with no live rock but for some reason I was never successful with that.

No he is not eating GHA yet but he is eating frozen on day 3. Very surprise he learned so quick to chase down floating food. The foxface is much more timid hiding in the rocks.

It's a nice to have item for me. I have one it does all the little things for me. But my lights and powerheads are running on their own controllers so the only timer function I use from the Apex is to run the dosers. But then again all these little things it does are very nice to have.

Has not touched the corals yet other than stealing food from them. This fish added a lot to the tank.
